245 High Street Maitland has been home of alfresco dinning for the past 15 years, over the past 6 years it has operated as Oasis on High where a fresh mix of Australian and European menu is served. We have a great coffee trade with the local business and general population, plus have 2 government business with in close proximity.
The premises has a/c indoor capacity of 40+, 35 outside in a enclosed rear courtyard with shading from two shadecloth sails. The heritage building was built 1897 and oozes the old world charm with high ceilings, pitcure rails, polished floorboards, double cavity brick walls, brick arches etc. We have a fully functional commercial kitchen, plenty of storage area, racking, male, female and disable toilets. We are wheel chair friendly with access via rear ramp from the rear car park.
The operation has full schedule of equipment as part of the sale (schedule of equipment on request after offer) including fridges, freezers etc. The price covers fully operational walk in and operate set-up with stock at time of sale and/or as agreed.
Over the duration of our ownership we have operated 5 days, 7 days plus 2 nights, alfresco and fine dinning with all being successful. Currently we operate Monday to Friday 7 - 3 , with our location centred in the cultural east end of the CBD and with high traffic exposure, the potential for new operators is really unlimited.
The reason for selling is to allow the start of the next venture outside the Maitland area.
