The Crystal Kingdom is ideally located to cater for the tourist trade on two major inland highways ( Newell & Oxley). Traffic numbers in 2005 were about 23000 vehicles per week.
The museum is a major regional tourist attraction and displays world-class local mineral and fossil specimens. (see our website by clicking on link below).
It is regularely visited by tour operators and school excursions. There is ample parking for coaches, cars and caravans. The recently renovated and updated retail shop is fully equipped and contains large stocks of gemstone, gemstone jewellery, mineral and fossil specimens, metaphysical supplies and gift lines. A large workshop (76 sqm), equipped with diamond saws (4), sanding and polishing wheels, flat laps and a large supply of lapidary material is attached.
